An inspirational weekend on the breathtaking shores of Puget Sound returns to an in-person event in 2023.
A well-established conference and regional favorite, WRITE ON THE SOUND (WOTS) presents over thirty workshops by noted authors, educators, and trade professionals.
WOTS offers a variety of high quality workshops offer an affordable experience for writers of all levels. Half-day workshops are offered on the Friday before the conference weekend. The conference also features a keynote address, on-site bookshop, manuscript and poetry critique appointments, and a writing contest. On Saturday evening, relax and get to know fellow writers and conference presenters at a book signing reception overlooking the sunset on Puget Sound.
Edmonds WA is located 30 minutes north of downtown Seattle, and 60 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic Mountains, Edmonds features a charming downtown with a variety of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and a regional performing arts center.

Focus is on the craft of writing. Pre-conference workshops, 30 weekend sessions, Saturday keynote, book sale reception, writing contest, one-on-one manuscript critique appointments.
