7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference

**PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE 7TH ANNUAL BROADLEAF WRITERS CONFERENCE WILL MOVE ONLINE. PLEASE SEE OUR ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MORE DETAILS**

The 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference returns October 8-9, 2022! With one of the strongest list of authors you will ever find at a conference, a fabulous list of agents and publisher representatives, educational sessions and workshops, and plenty of opportunities to meet (even online!) and share your work, the 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference will offer you all that you need to refine and improve your craft and get you on the road toward publication!

If you would like a sample of how we handle a virtual conference, here’s one of our sessions from 2021. As a bonus to your registration, we will have recordings of all sessions for every attendee. So, no more missing sessions! You get to see them all!

INVEST IN YOU! Attending a writing conference is an opportunity to invest in yourself as a writer, to learn from experts, and to become a part of a community of writers that inspire, uplift and support one another!

With your registration, you will receive access to all sessions of the 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference and you will be able to schedule a one-on-one with a literary agent or publisher rep! Additionally, we will once again bring you the opportunity to schedule one-on-one mentoring sessions with an author or agent of your choice. This is great opportunity to learn more about writing and the publishing industry without the pressure of a pitch!

On Saturday, October 8th, we will once again present a First Pages Critique featuring a panel of agents and publishers representatives. Be sure to submit your first page prior to the conference in order to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to get your manuscript on the right path! On Sunday, October 9th, we will again bring you our Query Letter Critique where you’ll have the opportunity to have your pitch critiqued by literary agents!

The 7th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference Program is now available!

Broadleaf Writers maintains a strict Code of Conduct for all attendees and speakers. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our expectations.

Refund Policy: We understand that sometimes, things happen. You’ve registered, but you can’t make it. However, as costs to facilitate the conference are applied in advance, you may not receive the entirety of your registration costs back. Up to 30 days before the event (Thursday, September 8th), you can receive 100% of your cost back. After that, we cannot refund any of your registration. For more information, or if you have any questions on the refund policy, please email Zachary Steele at zach@broadleafwriters.com.
