We are so excited to be returning to Florence for another amazing workshop experience!
We will take you to the beautiful city of Florence, Italy, where you'll be exploring the gems of Tuscany, photographing and learning to your hearts desire, living in a centuries-old Italian villa, and dining on amazing italian cuisine.
This ALL INCLUSIVE workshop has a RETREAT feel, including all of your personalized photo instruction, excursions, meals, and accommodations for the perfect workshop experience.

Welcome to Firenze! - The quintessential tuscan city
It's really hard to compare any other city to Florence! It is the artistic cultural center of all of Europe, and literally
everything around every corner is a photo opportunity. During the week, we'll have at least one full day exploring the city center, where we'll guide you through the streets, soaking in the Italian culture & cuisine, perfecting photo techniques,
and create amazing, wall-worthy images.
Your home for the week - Residenza Palmerino
Residenza Il Palmerino is a centuries old, family owned villa in the gorgeous hills just outside of Florence. With a relaxed vibe and old-world charm, Palmerino is a completely unique lodging experience. Our gracious host and villa owner, Federica, will make you feel completely at home, with cozy accommodations and truly delicious, authentic italian cuisine & wine all week long!
TUSCAN COOKING CLASS DAY
One of the best parts of this workshop is the RETREAT feel, and in between photo excursions, we'll be dining on amazing meals to add to your experience all week long. Imagine the tastes...fresh cheeses from Parma, scrumptous varieties of prosciutto and salami, fruits, fresh fig jam and olives picked right outside from the villas gardens, and wine....always, always wine!
Please bring your appetite! You'll have a day dedicated to the art of Italian cuisine, including a Tuscan Cooking Class, a Mini Food Photography Class, and we'll end the day with an amazing multi-course meal paired with italian wines.
You'll be creating dishes such as homemdae pasta, meat & cheese stuffed raviolis, tiramisu, and more!

While we strive to keep to our itinerary so you
can plan for your trip, the itinerary and times are subject to change at the discretion of the workshop staff & instructors. This allows us to be spontaneous during our workshops, with so many amazing photographic opportunities that will arise!
DETAILS
TUITION
Tuition includes:
• All photography instruction, lectures and critique.
• Lodging at Residencia Il Palmerino for 5 nights.
• Meals - all breakfasts, all dinners, and 2 lunches.
• Transportation to all photo locations, cooking excursions & classes.
Tuition does not include:
Airfare to and from Florence, transportation to and from Florence airport to Residenza Il Palmerino. Does not include passport, visa fees, or travel insurance.
LODGING
The workshop is based at a privately owned villa outside Florence for the week. Rooms included in the workshop fee are based on double occupancy (shared rooms).
There is an additional fee of $300 per person if requesting a private room.
Rooms are allocated in order of registration booking. We will try to accommodate
any special roommate requests. Please contact David Lynn Workshops.
DISCOUNTS
$50 discount for attendees of any previous David Lynn Workshop class.
$50 Refer A Friend - $50 off your tuition when a friend you refer books a spot.
EARLY BIRD PRICING:
$200 off tuition if registered with paid deposit
$150 off tuition if registered with paid deposit
$100 off tuition if registered with paid deposit
INVESTMENT
$1,000 Deposit is required to reserve a spot in the Italy Workshop.
Second payment of $1,375 is due 6 months prior to event.
Final payment of $1,375 due by 60 days prior to event.
All applicable Discounts will be applied to final payment.
Payments are invoiced and paid online.
If client cancels their reservation in the Workshop:
within 30 days, David Lynn Photography retains 100% of payments made.
within 60 days, David Lynn Photography retains 50% of payments made.
within 90 days, David Lynn Photography retains 25% of payments made.
before 90 days prior to workshop, all payments are returned.
David Lynn Photography reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or rearrange the itinerary of a workshop for any reason, including, but not limited to: insufficient attendee booking, instructor illness, hotel closures or cancellations, inclement weather, and random acts of nature. In the event of Workshop full cancellation, David Lynn Photography will refund all payments made, and thereby be released of any other cancellation liability. Payments made can also be saved as a credit to use towards any other new or rescheduled workshop.
A minimum of 4 attendees are required for the trip to remain scheduled. If less than 4 people register for the workshop 60 days prior to workshop date, the workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled, and all deposits and payments refunded. Payments made can also be saved as a credit to use towards any other new or rescheduled workshop.
WAIVERS & INSURANCE
Workshop guests are required to sign a waiver of liability releasing David Lynn Photography from any damage & personal injury liability while participating in the workshop.
Purchasing Travel Insurance is highly recommended for each participant. Ideally your travel insurance will cover personal medical expenses, personal liability, lost or stolen luggage, and damaged camera equipment.
PHOTO RELEASES
David Lynn Photography reserves the right to photograph and/or film the workshop events, its participants, and locations, and use the material for marketing and promotional purposes including, but not limited to, social media, websites, and blogs.
