The Making Space for Inspiration writing retreat takes you into the magical space of an ancient converted monastery where you can slip away from the world and into a rhythm that allows you to write, dream, create, and explore your inner life for 7 days and 6 nights. This retreat is ideal for anyone yearning for time to explore a book project; journal; learn about the creative process; or simply reflect, relax, and listen to inner life for clarity and direction. You’ll have space to contemplate, relax, and explore nature, and as well as benefit from structured time in highly interactive workshops conducive to creative growth. Daily workshop themes include:

You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss your explorations and receive regular encouragement and support that will help you through the creative blocks and resistance and allow you to deeply explore and cultivate your inner life.

You'll have a chance to:

Explore the creative process;
Develop your intuition to make better creative decisions;
Use writing as a way to anchor your creative projects and life
Explore meditation and practices like dream work as ways to foster
creativity and find clarity;

and challenges;

Work on a book project, journal, and/or
reflect on your life direction.

Participation is limited to a small group of 15 maximum.

Where: The workshop takes place at the Clos des Capucins, a 17th century monastery which has been converted into a retreat center. Simple rooms are located in the newly constructed part of the Clos, surrounded by a cloistered garden, and an expansive walled park which are part of the old grounds once run by Capuchin monks. It’s located at the edge of the picturesque village of Yenne, a short walk away, and hiking trails are readily accessible.

The retreat meeting point of departure is the beautiful lakeside city of Aix les Bains near Annecy.

Cost: $1,699 USD. Cost is $1,279 if you register before March 31st, 2015, and $1499 USD before May 1st, 2015.

Price is for double occupancy room and includes all meals, and transport from Annecy, France to the retreat center at Clos des Capucins in Yenne. Price does not include transatlantic flights or travel to the departure point in Annecy. Half of the amount will be due upon booking and the final payment is due by May 30th.

Single rooms are available at an additional cost of: $300 USD
