A well-established conference and regional favorite, WRITE ON THE SOUND presents over thirty workshops by noted authors, educators, and trade professionals.
A variety of intimate, high quality workshops offer an affordable experience for writers of all levels. Friday half and full-day workshops are also offered. The conference also features a keynote address, on-site bookshop, manuscript critique appointments, and a writing contest. On Saturday evening, relax and get to know fellow writers and conference presenters at a book signing and casual gathering overlooking the sunset on Puget Sound.
Edmonds WA, known as an arts community, is located 20 minutes north of Seattle, and 45 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic Mountains to the west, Edmonds has a charming downtown with a variety of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and a regional performing arts center.
Focus is on the craft of writing. 4 sessions per day, Saturday keynote, reception, pre-conference half & full-day workshops, writing contest.
