A well-established conference and regional favorite, WRITE ON THE SOUND presents over thirty workshops by noted authors, educators, and trade professionals who share their expertise and literary visions.

A variety of intimate, high quality workshops offer an affordable experience for writers of all levels. Pre-conference half and full-day workshops are also offered. In addition to two full days of workshops, the conference features a keynote address, on-site bookshop, manuscript critique appointments, and a themed writing contest. On Saturday evening, relax and get to know fellow writers and conference presenters at a book signing and casual gathering overlooking the sunset on Puget Sound.

Edmonds, known as an arts community, is located 20 minutes north of Seattle, 45 minutes from SeaTac airport. With outstanding views of the water and the Olympic Mountains to the west, Edmonds has a charming downtown with a variety of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and a regional performing arts center.

Registration Begins Online in July 2015. 2014 rates: $145/2 days early bird, $165/2 days late registration. $90/single day. Pre-conference 1/2 day workshops $77, full day $125, writing contest entry $15, Manuscript Critique $37, box lunch $15.
