Antioch Writers' Workshop at University of Dayton welcomes writers, new or seasoned, and offers flexible options to attend its summer program: Weekend Option, Morning Only Option, and Full Week Option. Presented in partnership with University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
Keynoter for 2018 is Connie Schultz, Pulitzer prize-winning columnist and the author of two books. Full Week Experience Morning Classes
: Four sessions--fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction and the business of writing--led by noted authors and publishing professionals (including agents). Afternoon Seminars
: Small groups learn craft and workshop manuscripts. Choose from fiction, poetry, memoir/personal essay. Or choose the Getting Started in Fiction or Creative Nonfiction, which does not require a manuscript and is geared toward new writers or those wishing to try new forms. Agent Pitch Sessions
: Available only to Full Week participants, at no extra charge. Visiting Agent(s) and Editor(s)—To Be Determined. One-on-One Manuscript Consultations
