Row of student baskets during a break in class. |
Due to the restrictions brought about by Covid-19, I am only conducting very small classes for the next few months, and the schedule is subject to change without notice. I will update this page when I know a class can be scheduled.
Because of the uncertainty, I am only listing classes on my facebook page at the moment.
In the interim, stay healthy. If you can't wait and really want to weave, you can always order a kit - all kits include all materials needed along with a pattern. Call me at 423-377-5555, or email for details. I can invoice with PayPal!
I teach basketry classes at a variety of art centers, state parks, and craft shops. The classes always include all materials, use of tools, and a fun time! All you have to bring is yourself, perhaps a friend or two, and something to snack on if you want. Unless otherwise stated, all classes are for those 16 years or older. ~~~ Interested in hosting a class? Call me at 423-377-5555, or email for details.~~~

=== Class Registration and Cancellation Policies ===
=== When COVID Ends... ===
Make an heirloom and have fun doing it! Baskets are fun, and can be very easy to make. I have classes ranging from beginner through intermediate, and into advanced skill levels.
Tell me about your group or organization and I will prepare a class proposal for you. The proposal outlines what facilities are needed, what classes will be taught, and what financial arrangements will be made. All class prices include all materials needed to make the basket, use of tools, instruction, and lots of fun! Call me at 423-494-5373 for more information. |

Basket Class, at Cootie Coo Creations, High Springs, FL,
One of these days, we will have in person classes again! Class fee includes all materials needed, use of tools, instruction, and written instructions. Sharon prefers to have students pay in advance to guarantee their seat in class.
Dress comfortably, and bring a towel or apron, or borrow an apron if you want. We do use water, so plan to get a little messy. The class usually goes to lunch together (mostly to Bev's - great food, fast service!) for a break in the middle of the day. Class starts at 10:00am and goes until you are done. Most people finish by 4-4:30.

NOTE: the following are my general policies regarding online payment. A host may have other policies. It is best to make sure of the registration and cancellation policies in advance of registering for a class.
~Register and pay online at least 7 days before class date so that we can be sure to have sufficient supplies for everyone.
~Your seat is not reserved until your class fee is paid. If the class is full, we will remove the online payment link. You may call and request to be put on a waiting list, but we cannot guarantee a seat.
~If you must cancel, contact me immediately!
~If cancelling more than 7 days before class, a refund may be given by check, minus a 5% processing fee. If less than 7 days before class, there is no refund, but you would have a choice of picking up a kit of all materials and instruction at the host location, or applying 50% of the class fee to another class.
~No-shows on class date forfeit class fee.
Selecting the payment button and making your payment constitutes agreement with these policies.
