Program Description
1-, 2- and 8-week workshops in Penland's well-equipped studios. Topics include film, digital, alt process, portraiture, narrative photography, and more. Open to serious students of all levels. Classes include demos, lectures, studio work, and field trips.

Faculty
Penland's visiting instructors are professional studio artists or photography professors. Summer 2016 instructors include William Earle Williams, Emma Powell, James Henkel, Bridget Conn, Sean Dyroff, Mercedes Jelinek, and Chris Peregoy.
Costs
Tuition: $603 (1 week), $1051 (2 weeks), $4176 (8 weeks). Room and Board: $554-$1655 (1 week), $1012-$3060 (2 weeks), $3474-$4493 (8 weeks). Studio fees vary. Scholarships available for all summer workshops and spring/fall concentrations.
