Michael Fitzgerald earned his BFA at the national College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. He was named Irish Jewelry Designer of the Year in 1992. In 1999 he set up a studio in Brooklyn, New York which he now runs with his wife Hiroyo Fitzgerald.
